E! Asks Twilight vs. Harry Potter – Which is Better?
E! is once again pitting Twilight vs. Harry Potter!!
This questions seems to come up a lot, and what a lot of media/people might not get that most of the time Twilight fans are also Harry Potter fans.
Look at the creators of TwilightLexicon.com Aphie and Pel, they met in a chat room/fan site for Harry Potter’s ‘Remus Lupin’.
While I understand the media’s need to “stir the pot” in a sense, there really is no need. Us Twilight fans don’t need to or want to choose.
I for one am both a Harry Potter AND Twilight fan. I’ve attended many a midnight showing for both films, own severals copies of both series, and geek out when I see the trailers.
So, I counter ask E! – Why must we choose? They are two very different stories/worlds and we can easily love them both!!
Fansites Exclusive – Video Interview with Jodelle Furland as Bree
Check out this Fansite Exclusive video interview with Jodelle Ferland “Bree Tanner” in ‘Eclipse’.
The video shows some great footage with ‘Bree’ with ‘Riley’, the newborns, and ‘The Cullens’.
Stephenie Meyer even gives us her thoughts on Ms. Ferland and ‘Bree’
‘The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner’ is out this Saturday June 5th. This is the ‘Eclipse’ novella that explains Bree’s time as a newborn vampire.
Release Date Set for ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’
We’ve all heard it on Facebook and Twitter, it is now confirmed, ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn’ will be released on Nov 18, 2011!!
It was released last week that Bill Condon (‘Dreamgirls’ will direct).
It is however unclear on weather ‘Breaking Dawn’ will be split into 1 or 2 films (we are guessing 2).
To quote Twilight Lexicon “…both Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg have said they think there is enough material. Two, at a certain level Hollywood is about money and from a studio angle what studio wouldn’t want another multimillion dollar, sure fire hit? Lastly, there’s expanded point of view possibilities. Book three in Breaking Dawn is packed with information and other characters. We are imagining sequences of seeing these vampire allies being recruited, training of the Cullen supporters, Aro summoning his forces and plotting, watching how Jacob spills the beans to Charlie. So, and again this is conjecture on our part, we see movie one ending with the birth of Renesmee and then movie two picking up from there.”
Stay tuned for news as in finale casting, shoot dates, etc!!
Also Lexicon makes a good point in their article about Twilight Saga being back at Comic Con in 2011, so I would start planing now if you want to go, Tix sell out quickly!!
Breaking Dawn Casting Scams!!!
Twilight Lexicon just put up a post regarding all the online ads people are seeing in regards to the Breaking Dawn Casting.
I guess not everyone knows those ads are totally false.
To quote the Lex
“…Seriously, we’d love to be able to say that anyone with no experience stands a chance of being cast as Carmen or Tanya, but it’s not the case. Breaking Dawn is not currently casting. Those ads you see online are a total scam.”
Some companies are even going as far as posting ads on fansites Forums.
So, please do not believe all those ads, Breaking Dawn still has technically not even been green lit.
